Here’s the  latest schedule, for the winter months:

  • Sunday 19th December The Parkland Loop. An easy walk of 4.6m 2.5 hrs following the Elham Valley Way to Kingston through the beautiful grounds of Charlton Park,
    then circling through the countryside to the south of the villages encountering the embankment and cutting of the former Elham Valley railway. Meet at Black Robin Pub, Kingston at 10am. It is proposed to have lunch at the pub after the walk. Booking at start of walk essential.
  • Tuesday 4 January 2022. A circular 7 mile walk from the shop at Stelling Minnis, (CT46AS) encompassing fine valley views on the ‘other’ side of Stone Street. Meet at 10am. Around 3 hours.
  • Sunday 16 January 2022. Meet 10am at the Elham Valley Stores for a 6 mile walk to the east and north of our Valley, then joining the Elham Valley Way back to our start point. Approx 3 hours.
  • Tuesday 8th February 2022. Meet at Lyminge library car park (CT188HS) at 10am for a walk up to the top of Tolsford Hill, the crest of the chalk downs, with views across the High Weald, the English Channel and Romney Marsh. Then downwards to the picturesque village of Postling and back to Lyminge. 5.8 miles 3 hours.

  • Sunday 20th February. Meet at Farthing Common free car park, (close to Farthing Common Plant Centre CT18 8DH), at 10am. A 7.5 mile circular, taking-in Lyminge, Ottinge, Boyke, and Rhodes Minnis. Optional stop for coffee at Lyminge’s coffee cabin, (CT18 8HU). Allow 3 ½ hours.
