Here is our schedule until March 2027 and the walk dates up to June 2027, gaps and details to fill in when available. Feel free to join us, we would love to meet you, no need to book, no charge and at the walk leaders discretion, well behaved dogs welcome.
We do not often have to cancel our walks due to bad weather conditions; however, should this be the case, please check the website elhamvalleywalkers.co.uk/our-next-walk/. A notice will be posted 12 hours in advance if the walk leader considers that conditions will not be enjoyable.
Sunday 1st November. Meet at 10am in Lyminge library car park CT18 8HS. Walk into North Lyminge Lane , then along the water meadow between Lyminge and Elham on the popular Elham Valley Way before ascending to the downs, using paths through open meadows and along small country lanes with their ecologically rich hedgerows. Sunday 6th December. Our Christmas walk (hopefully some nibbles). We meet 10am in the square at Elham and will head out of Elham towards the Parkgate valley and into the tall trees of Madams wood. A route of about 6 miles with a few hills to negotiate. Andy Cornford leads. Tel 077610034407
Sunday 3rd January. A no mud walk and a breath of sea air! Meet at Folkestone Fish Market CT19 6AA for 10am. Walk takes us along the coast towards Sandgate and return. Plenty of coffee shop opportunities! An easy route of about 5 miles. Andy Cornford leads. Tel 077610034407
