The frequency of our walks is changing. From March 2026 we are reverting to holding one monthly walk on the first Sunday of the month, our Tuesday walks will discontinue. Here is our schedule until July 2026.
Feel free to join us, no need to book, no charge and at the walk leaders discretion, well behaved dogs welcome.
We do not often have to cancel our walks due to bad weather conditions; however, should this be the case, please check the website elhamvalleywalkers.co.uk/our-next-walk/. A notice will be posted 12 hours in advance if the walk leader considers that conditions will not be enjoyable.
Sunday 5th July. Start 10am West wood car park, (nearest postcode CT4 6XY) Rhodes Minnis. Mainly woods and fields to Exted then a a steep chalk decline to Elham. Coffee stop at Elham Tea Rooms and return via loop to start. 6 miles, moderate, 3 hours plus stop time. Leader, Chris Jelly 07518163183
Sunday 2 August. A circular walk from Wickhambreaux along the Little Stour, deviating to Preston Court. Think nature and be calm on this delightful walk. Graded as easy, under 6 miles, a few stiles. Meet 10am by The Rose Inn, Wickhambreaux CT3 1RQ. Road parking.

Sunday 6th September. A 7 mile walk meeting at Lyminge Village Hall for 10.00am start. We will walk up Tolsford Hill and drop down to Postling then climb to Pent Downs and on to Farthing Common before returning. This walk has brilliant views but is exposed it can be shortened to 5 miles if the weather is inclement. Leader is Len Jeavons 07930 111103
