The walk schedule and dates to the end of year and into January 2026, with some details to be advised. Come and join us, no need to book, no charge and at the walk leaders discretion, well behaved dogs welcome.
We do not often have to cancel our walks due to bad weather conditions; however, should this be the case, please check the website elhamvalleywalkers.co.uk/our-next-walk/. A notice will be posted 12 hours in advance if the walk leader considers that conditions will not be enjoyable.
Sunday 21st December. Our Christmas walk. Start 10am Lympne Castle, (off street parking in the vicinity of the County Members pub, CT21 4LH and walk to the
signposted castle), via lanes and fields to Brockhurst Country Park. A
festive stop at the Cafe, then through the park and downhill to West
Hythe. Returning via the canal path and steeply uphill to our start
point. 5 miles, 3.5 hours with stop. Easy, but final climb challenging.

Sunday 18th January. Walk starting at Folkestone harbour, meet 10am outside the old fish market adjacent to the Rocksalt restaurant. We walk towards Hythe, along the Leas into Saltwood then return via the promenade to the harbour. About 4 miles, an easy mud free walk, fresh air and plenty of coffee shops as well.
